I never knew how many uses of Ivory soap there was until I received a bar in my Mom Vox Box from Influenster. They asked us to post what uses we found or used with our Ivory bar. I used mine as a gentle leather cleaner. I have a leather jacket that is 20 years old and showing its age. I found these directions for cleaning leather with Ivory soap http://www.ehow.com/how_6366159_clean-leather-ivory-soap.html . So I tried it and the leather came out feeling smoother, looking cleaner, and smelling a whole lot better.
I also used Ivory as I showered. I usually do not like bar soaps because they leave your skin feeling dry and tight. Ivory did not do this to my skin it left it feeling smooth with a nice clean scent. Now they have Ivory Body wash. I am using this now as my new body wash. It does the same as the original bar soap. Works much better then any body wash I have ever tried!
This is information from Influenster on Ivory soap- Ivory bar soap is 99.44% pure (it floats!). Beyond using it as a body cleanser, many of Ivory's loyal users – not to mention a few celebrities – swear by Ivory as their beauty secret. In fact, many consumers use Ivory bar soap as a facial cleanser. It provides healthier, smoother and more even-looking skin. Also, its versatility makes it an effective laundry soap (just chip soap flakes into the washer) as well as a spot stain remover on your clothes (including delicate items). Ivory bars can even be used for a fun soap carving project with the family!
So can you find any other ways of using Ivory soap? Put yourself to the test and try Ivory soap today!
I received this product complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster and Ivory as a participant in the Mom VoxBox campaign
